    AMERICAN ROULETTE

Bets are placed using colour chips. Each table has a selection of different colour wheel chips. Each player is given a different colour to identify one player’s bet from another. These colour chips can only be played at the table from which they are issued.

The game commences when the Dealer spins the ball. The player should at this time place their bets, although they may place their bets prior to the Dealer spinning. As the ball slows down, the Dealer shall announce “No More Bets”. Once this announcement has been made, no further bets will be accepted.

The number and colour of the slot the ball falls into shall be the winning number and will be announced by the Dealer, marked with a “Dolly” and all bets shall be paid or removed accordingly.

Should 0 (Zero) be the winning number, any bets placed on the outside chances will lose.

When you have finished playing at the table, your colour chips should be given to the Dealer to exchange for cash chips. You may use the cash chips on other games or cash them in at the Cashier counter.

    IMPORTANT RULES IN AMERICAN ROULETTE

The House Reserves The Right To Declare And Invalid Spin In The Event That:

    •  The ball is spun in the same direction as the wheel.
    •  The ball does not complete 4 revolutions.
    •  A foreign object enters the wheel.
    •  The ball is propelled or falls out of the wheel.
    •  Any person interferes with the ball or rotation of the wheel.

Once The Spin Has Been Declared Invalid, It Shall Remain So, Regardless Of Whether Or Not The Ball Has Settled In One Of The Compartments Before The Dealer’s Attempt To Remove The Ball From The Wheel.

     BLACKJACK

Blackjack is played using 6 or 8 traditional decks of 52 cards. Picture cards count as 10, other cards count as their face value, except the Ace, which counts as 1 or 11.

The House holds the bank and all players play against the House. The Dealer acts on behalf of the house.<p
    </p

The object of the game is to draw card(s) totaling 21 or close to, but not exceeding 21. The player wins with a point total greater than the Dealer’s.

The Dealer initially deals two cards to each player and one card for the House. All cards are dealt face up. The total of your initial two cards shall determine which options are available to you.

If your initial two cards are an Ace with any 10 or picture card, you have Blackjack and may not draw additional cards.

When the Dealer’s first card is an Ace, you have the option of taking “Insurance” against the Dealer making Blackjack.

If you don’t have Blackjack, you have the option to either draw additional cards (Hit) or stop drawing cards (Stand). You may stand on any initial two card total.

After all the players have completed their hands, the Dealer deals additional cards for the House. The Dealer must draw on 16 and stand on 17 or higher.

An optional “Blackjack Pairs” bet may be placed before receiving any cards and will win if both your initial two cards are of the same rank. The payout schedule is posted on each table.

    TERMS USED IN BLACKJACK

Blackjack: A hand comprising an Ace with a 10 or any picture card with the first two initial cards dealt to the box. This is the highest hand and beats all others.

21: Two (in the case of split Aces receiving a ten, or split tens receiving an Ace) or more cards that total 21. No more cards may be drawn on 21.

Soft Total: A hand that contains an Ace, where the Ace is counted as 11 (not applicable to 21).

Hard Total: A hand in which any Aces must be counted as 1.

     Hit: To draw cards.

Stand / Stay: The decision to draw no further cards.

Push / Stand off: The player has the same point count as the Dealer. Neither wins.

Split: Any two initial cards of identical value may be split into two different hands. An additional bet, exactly equal to the first, must be placed for the “new” hand. No hand may be split more than thrice (forming a total of 4 hands). Each hand must be completed before any cards may be dealt to the other split hand(s). Aces may only be split once, with each Ace receiving only one card.

Doubling or Double Down: A player may elect to double any two cards (except Blackjack and 21) only prior to receiving a third card to his/her hand. An additional bet, exactly equal to the original bet must be placed and only one additional card shall be dealt.

Insurance: When the Dealer’s first card is an Ace, the player may make an additional wager to protect his/her initial bet against the Dealer’s possible Blackjack. Insurance must be placed prior to any player making any decisions. If the Dealer makes Blackjack, the players’ initial bet will lose (or stand off, if the player’s hand is a Blackjack) and the insurance bet will be paid 2 to 1. If the Dealer does not make Blackjack, the insurance bet loses and the game proceeds.

Even Money: When the Dealer’s card is an Ace and the player has Blackjack, the player may request payment of 1 to 1, immediately after receiving the initial two cards and prior to any player drawing a third card.

Too many / Bust: If cards are drawn causing the hard point total to exceed 21, your hand loses.

In order to prevent any misunderstanding or errors, it is required that ALL players indicate their decisions by means of Hand Signals.

A HIT is indicated by extending the forefinger and pointing at the table in a clearly visible motion. When STANDing, the decision to draw no further cards is indicated by a slight horizontal motion with the open hand, palm down.

    IMPORTANT RULES IN BLACKJACK

    •  Players are responsible for the addition of their cards.
    •  The Dealer shall only act on hand signals.
    •  The Dealer must stand on 17 and must draw on 16.
    •  Up to three players may bet on each box.
    •  A player may bet on as many boxes as he/she wishes. In the event there are insufficient boxes available to other players, he/she may be asked to give up these boxes, in favour of the other players. In such a case, the player may retain control of one box.
    •  A card drawn in error to the Dealer’s completed hand shall be discarded if the card has been exposed. If the card is not exposed, it shall be used as the burn card of the new game.
    •  A card dealt in error mid-game shall be used as though it were the next card in the shoe.
    •  If an error of card placement occurs in the initial deal (before all players receive 2 cards each), the hand shall be reconstructed.

    BACCARAT

    BACCARAT

The game of Baccarat (pronounced BA-CAR-AH) is played with 8 decks of standard playing cards. The object of the game is to bet that either the Banker’s side or the Player’s side will achieve a ‘point total’ closest to 9.

The point count of a hand is a single digit number from 0 to 9 inclusive. If the total value of the two cards is a two digit number, the first digit is disregarded and the second digit constitutes the ‘point total’.

Picture cards and the 10 card will count as 0; all other cards are valued according to their face value, except the Ace, which counts as one.

A bet is placed either on the section marked Player, Banker or Tie, corresponding to your seat number.

Two cards are dealt to each side in the following order: 1st card to the Player, 2nd card to the Banker, 3rd card to the Player and the 4th card to the Banker. Any additional cards are dealt according to strict drawing rules known as the “Tableau”. The hand that contains the higher ‘point total’ shall win.

When the Player wins, the bet is paid 1 to 1.

When the Banker wins, the bet is paid 1 to 1 except in the case when the Banker wins with a ‘point total’ of 6, then the bet shall paid at 50% less.

If the ‘point total’ is the same for both the Player and Banker, it is a Tie (Egalité). Any bets placed in the Tie betting area shall be paid 8 to 1.

In the case of a Tie, players may elect to sustain or alter, increase or reduce their original bets for the next hand (Coup).

  • FLUSH

    FLUSH

    FLUSH

Flush is as popular in the Indian sub-continent as poker is in America. You play against the other players on the table, not against the dealer. Skilful playing and sound judgment of the opponent’s hand is crucial to winning. Three cards are dealt to each player face down and betting begins. You may either look at your hand or continue to play blind, i.e. without knowing your hand. A player who moves after looking at his cards has to put double the amount of the blind bet.

Starting from the highest value, the ranking descends in the following manner. These are different from poker games originating from America:

    $20 Free

For a Trial, AAA is the best hand down to 222.

For a Double Run or a Sequence, the ranking is such:

AKQ, A23, KQJ, QJ10 and so on down to 432.

For a Colour, the ranking is determined by the highest value card. If in a showdown both players have a Colour with the same high card, then the value of the second highest card will determine the winner. Should both these cards be of the same value, then the lowest card will decide the winner. This is also true for Pairs and High Cards. If players have the same hand, the player who asked for a “Show” loses.

ANTE is a compulsory bet for the players to enter in the game while PLAY is to raise an twice the amount of ANTE to see the dealer’s hand. PLAY is like a move. Player may chose not bet on Play, thereby losing their Ante before opening of the dealer’s hand. Dealer’s hand qualifies having a minimum Queen High. With a non – qualified hand, the dealer pays 1 to 1 to all Ante bets while Play bets remain stand-off. Showing qualified hand the dealer pays player’s all better hands (comparing to the dealer’s own) 1 to 1 bets both on Play and Ante. Players loose both bets if dealer’s hand is better. All equal hands remain stand-off.

    SIDE BETS (OPTIONAL):

High and Low are additional choices for players. Players can bet on both or choose one of them. It is not compulsory to bet on any of these. However, bets are to be placed before dealing cards.

Dealer’s better hand will not influence these optional bets. These bets are solely on the cards in the Player’s hand and not whether the Player beats the Dealer.

After the players have made a wager each player and the dealer shall get one card.

Each player’s card shall be compared with the dealer’s card. If the player’s card is higher he wins even money. If the dealer’s card is higher the player loses.

In the event of a tie the player shall have two choices: (1) surrender and forfeit half the bet or (2) go to war.

If the player elects to go to war he must raise his bet by an amount equal to his original wager. The dealer will do the same but this is just for show. The dealer will then burn three cards and give the player and dealer another card each. If the player’s second card equals or beats the dealer then the player shall win even money on the raise only and the original wager shall push. If the dealer’s second card is greater the player shall lose both bets.

    THREE CARD POKER

Three Card Poker is a version of Poker using a single deck of 52 cards that gives you three different ways to play. The aim of the game is to have a higher Poker hand than the Dealer, or to have a hand of a Pair or better, or to have any combination of the two. At the start of the game before any cards are dealt, decide whether to place a bet on Ante and/or Pair Plus.

After you have placed your initial bet(s), the Dealer will deal three cards face-down to each player and to themselves. After all the cards have been dealt, pick up your cards and view them.

If you believe your hand is high enough to beat the Dealer’s hand, then you can continue to play by placing an additional bet on Play that is equal to your Ante bet.

If you believe your hand will not beat the Dealer’s hand or you do not have a Pair, then you can fold and your Ante and/or Pair Plus bets will be collected by the Dealer.

Once all players have placed a Play bet or folded, the Dealer will turn their cards face-up. To qualify, the Dealer must have a hand of at least Queen high. If the Dealer does not qualify with a Queen high, then all Ante bets and winning Pair Plus bets are paid.

If the Dealer qualifies and your hand beats the Dealer’s hand, then your Ante and Play bets are paid at even money. The Dealer will then pay any Ante Bonus and Pair Plus bets at the odds listed in the table below.

Ante Bonus bets are paid on all Straights or better; regardless of the result of the Dealer’s hand. When your hand qualifies for an Ante Bonus you will win the bonus appropriate to that hand (see pay table).

A Pair Plus bet will win when your hand has at least a Pair, regardless of the Dealer’s hand (see pay table).
